Dr Kevin Gilmore is one of Ireland’s leading dentists specialising in prosthodontics and restorative dentistry. For the past 10 years, a major part of Kevin’s work has involved leading the planning and treatment for challenging cases requiring multiple disciplines of dentistry. He has a particular expertise in cases involving dental implants.
Kevin has completed extensive post-graduate specialist training. Following an MSc in Newcastle, Kevin was the first dentist to graduate from Trinity College’s post-graduate training programme in prosthodontics, where he played a key role in the design and set-up of this internationally recognised course.
Kevin maintains a number of leadership positions amongst the dental communities in Ireland, having been president of the Irish Prosthodontic Society in 2011-2012, and being a committee member of the Irish Dental Association. He lectures nationally and internationally on Prosthodontics and Restorative dentistry, was recently invited to be the Irish representative on 3i’s international Implant Programme and teaches part-time in Dublin Dental Hospital at Trinity College.
In his spare time, Kevin volunteers with the international charity Operation Smile and has completed missions in India and Morocco. Kevin is friendly and down to earth, and takes the time to provide his patients with their treatment options and information to help them decide on the best treatment plan to suit their circumstances.
